About the Adoration Chapel

The Wording

Because the  Adoration Chapel had a Marian theme, I chose to have the Hail Mary going around the room. When you walk into the Adoration Chapel, the first words you see are, "The Lord is with thee" above where the Lord is, as a way to meditate upon the reality during prayer,  that the Lord is with us in our time in Adoration.

The Colors

I carefully selected blues that would feel reverent and Marian. I wanted to create a sense of being covered by Mary's Mantle upon walking in.

The Altar

I restored and regilded the antique Altar that was purchased from Europe. The gold Gilding was old and peeled. Gilding the Altar for the Adoration Chapel took about 40 hours collectively to finish.
